Preparing a business plan including market research, writing a funding application to the fund, and now acting as a director of the new social enterprise which is based on cycle tourism on the Black Isle.
8 Scottish case studies of natural heritage projects and rural development - Scottish Natural Heritage
These illustrate a variety of contemporary issues involving rural development and the natural heritage. They focus on how a government agency such as Scottish Natural Heritage can fulfil its statutory duties (protection and enhancement of biodiversity and landscape, and public enjoyment and understanding of the natural heritage) while also contributing to social and economic development.
Project Management - Transition Black Isle
Management of a 12 month Climate Challenge Fund award to Transition Black Isle. The project includes energy saving, local food production and consumption, and awareness raising.
